Design & Instruction
Justin Foell – Director

Justin’s first year with Minnesota Brass was on baritone in 1999 after aging out of Phantom Regiment. After taking a hiatus to live in the western states, he returned to the corps as a member in 2012. He’s been active with the corps in several capacities since. Justin’s holds a passion for WGI Winds because of the all-instrument format.
Ryan Collins – Visual

Ryan’s first year with Minnesota Brass was in 2010. He’s got an extensive history with the corps including the DCA Championship year in 2011. Ryan has worked as a visual instructor at both Andover and Anoka High Schools. Ryan has been part of the winds team since it’s first year in 2023.
Jenna Schunk – Choreography

Jenna Schunk’s first year with Minnesota Brass was in 2017. She’s been part of the summer drum corps, winter guard, and on staff with MBI Winds since 2024. Besides bringing a incredible depth of dance and choreography experience, she’s also part of family that has deep roots in the marching arts.
Nic Englin – Music & Visual

Nic Englin (he/him/his) is a music educator based in the Twin Cities. Since moving to Minneapolis from his home state of Iowa in 2022, Nic has immersed himself in the world of the marching arts, serving on the instructional staff at Champlin Park, Rosemount, Lakeville South, and doing visual design for multiple other groups. At MBI Performing Arts, he is an instructor and designer for MBI Winds and a music and visual technician for MBI Drum and Bugle Corps.
Keegan Greene – Music & Visual

Keegan Greene started with Minnesota Brass in 2012. He went on to march trumpet at Madison Scouts and has since rejoined MBI as staff starting in 2025. He’s studying music and works with the Fridley High School Marching Tigers.
Jess Fedje – Music & Visual

Jess Fedje (and family) have a long history with MBI and beyond. She’s played just about every instrument under the sun: flute, clarinet, bass clarinet, saxophone (all types), baritone, and tuba. She has also been the summer corps drum major for 2024 & 2025. We’re excited to add her to the MBI Winds staff in 2026.
Ward Miller – Music Arranger

Dr. Ward Miller is a renown band clinician and arranger. Originally hailing from Auburn, Alabama but currently located in Minnesota. Ward’s arrangements have been played by bands across the country including the Macy’s Great American Marching Band, Auburn University, The University of Hawaii, and The Ohio State University to name just a few. Ward has been arranging for MBI Winds since the first year in 2023.
Consultants
Zach Sander – Music

Zach’s first year with Minnesota Brass was in 2023 as woodwind consultant for MBI Winds. This got parleyed into Zach leading the 2023 Summer Corps hornline as Brass Caption Head. While enjoying brass teaching, Zach’s first love is the saxophone which blends perfectly with MBI Winds.
